🔄 How to Reset the Service Symbol (Correct Method)
Here’s the proper way to clear the spanner on most Brivis Networker controllers:
Press the ‘Fn’ button on your controller.
You’ll see ‘Reset’ flashing next to number 4 on the display.
Press the number 4 button once.
The service symbol will disappear instantly.
That’s it — your Brivis controller is now reset.
If the wrench reappears shortly after, or your heater still isn’t working properly, you might have a stored fault.

🧰 Why the Symbol Might Come Back
If the service symbol keeps returning, the heater’s internal control board may still detect:
Dirty or blocked return-air filters
Dust or debris around the fan or burners
Weak flame sensor or gas ignition issue
Low gas pressure
In that case, a professional service will clear both the reminder and any logged faults.
🧯 When to Call a Technician
Call a licensed gas technician if:
The service icon keeps reappearing
You see error codes or flashing lights
Your heater clicks repeatedly or shuts off
You smell gas or hear unusual noises
